Chromebooks can fill up gaps in your current technology needs. If you are pulling together many different devices, chromebooks can easily expand on what you have for existing Macs, PC's, or Linux. There is even a Chrome Browser for Linux. You can use PC's, Macs, iPads, and iPhones as Chromebooks, with basically the same interface on each, as long as you install the Chrome Browser on each, and log in.
Quickly grow your student:computer ratio. This class was 1:10, now it is 1:3
Super quick booting-8 seconds
More resources for students are available, instead of one book or a packet, you can list 15 links. Students can log into most all their apps with one log in. They log out, and anyone else with a google log in can use it, with all their docs and stored passwords, etc.
Apps and Docs-Students can quickly get to sites or apps that you want, you choose the sites via your homepage, wiki, or use the management console to install apps from the Chrome Store. The Management Console has App Packs for Different Levels, Elementary School (K - 5), Middle School (grades 6 - 8), High School (grades 9 - 12),
